Welcome to Katrina's Happy Dogs. World of passion, purpose, and paws! With a heart dedicated to the well-being of your furry friends, I've immersed myself in the realm of dog training and animal welfare for several years.

My adventure began in 2016 when I had the privilege of working with a charitable organisation in Cyprus called BARC. We focussed on rehoming animals to loving families within the military community.

Working here really ignited my passion to want to continue working with animals.

 

My experience extended to a non-profit humane animal shelter on the central coast of California, where, alongside two dedicated dog trainers and other animal professionals I saw the remarkable impact of science-based positive reinforcement training and care. It was here that I witnessed dogs come out of their shells and find loving  forever homes with our help.

 

Having become a fully approved Instructor with the Academy of Dog Training and Behaviour, I've worked closely with owners and their canine companions in a group class setting and on a 1-1 basis. 

 

As a proud member of the National Institute of Canine Ethics, I am dedicated to continuous learning and professional development. Attending seminars and staying abreast of industry literature ensures that I offer the most effective and up-to-date techniques in my practice.

 

I believe that having a bond between owner and dog is key to a happy healthy relationship. The training I offer allows you and your dog to have an adventure together whilst learning in a fun, positive and enjoyable way.

 Beyond the world of dog training, you'll find me trying out new recipes on my barbecue and exploring new places with family and friends.
